Cleaning Services
During regular business hours, the janitorial porter is provided for the common areas and restroom of the Overlook III.
Night cleaning services are provided Monday through Friday evenings after 6pm at Overlook III.
In addition to attending to Overlook III common areas, the night cleaning staff will perform the following duties in your suite:
- Floor work – sweeping/vacuuming/damp mopping/periodic spray-buffing (vinyl tile)
- Dusting – horizontal surfaces
- Glass work – wash doors, side lights
- Waste removal – emptying all containers
- Carpet – spot cleaning (spots are defined as being less than or equal to the size of a quarter)
The following special services may be provided at the Tenant’s cost during the nightly service:
- Carpets – wall to wall cleaning, spot larger than a quarter
- Floors – sealing, waxing and treating custom floors
- Walls – washed inch by inch to remove fingerprints and non-staining smudges
- Kitchen – dishwashing service, appliance cleaning (refrigerators, microwave ovens)
- Removal of excess trash and breaking down any boxes
- Disinfecting services
- Special Tenant Request
Recycling Services
The Overlook III building has implemented a Paper Recycling Program. The items intended for recycling should be placed in an identifiable Blue Recycling Container. If you Container is not blue, please make sure it is clearly identifiable with the words "RECYCLING", "RECICLAJE" or has a large recycling symbol on the outside. Each container a clear liner. Monday-Friday our nightly janitorial staff will remove the items from the container and place them in the recycling compactor.
Below is a listing of items that will e acceptable for recycling:
- Paper-including post-its, windowed envelopes, and stapled documents.
- office paper - all colors.
- Envelopes ( windowed or labeled)
- Junk mail
- Magazines
- Phone books
- Soft and hard back books
- File folders
- Brochures
- Wrapping paper
- Greeting cards
- Flattened Cardboard- including boxes, paper towel center, toilet paper rolls.
All non-recyclable items such as trash from the breakroom, restroom, conference room, plants, food waste, styrofoam, polystyrene, plastic of any kind, food wrappers, food containers, used cups, soda bottles/cans, food waste, liquids, wet substances, wood, maintenance items, wood etc. must be place in a black liner or a separate container.
The non-recyclable items or "Wet Trash" that will be placed in the 8-yard dumpster beside the loading dock.
Please note that if the clear liners contain a single nonrecyclable item in the entire bag or container could be deemed "contaminated" and disposed as trash.
