Balcony Furniture
Furniture specifications for tenants with balconies are as follows: We recommend cast aluminum furniture that has weight and an open design, i.e., has an open weave appearance, is perforated, etc. to allow air to pass through and that will not rust. Teak furniture is also acceptable due to its inherent weight. We prohibit planters since they will either fill with rainwater and stain the tile or drain through the planter and stain the tile. Plastic/resin furniture, rolled aluminum, tubing and plastic lawn chairs, umbrellas, etc. will not work due to wind considerations. Finally, just reminder, smoking is prohibited on the balconies and thus there should be no need of any smoking receptacles.
